As Apple gears up for WWDC 2023 in June, enthusiasts and users are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the newest version of iOS. Following the rocky journey of iOS 16, the company aims to make iOS 17 an iterative update, focusing primarily on bug fixes and optimizations. However, this doesn’t rule out the possibility of design changes, and we have some insights into what they might entail.
Twitter user @analyst941, an emerging leaker, has shared images of design changes coming to Wallet, Health, and Wallpapers in iOS 17. Although these changes are subtle, they hint at the refined UI users can expect with the new update.
While @analyst941 has leaked several Apple-related details recently, their track record is yet to be established. Therefore, it’s important to take these leaks with a grain of salt. The first render showcases a new Wallpaper picker screen for iOS 17, featuring a grid view that allows users to delete and rearrange wallpapers easily.
The Health app is also set to receive a “favorites redesign,” displaying key information in a grid view for quick access. Finally, the Wallet app appears to be undergoing the most significant design overhaul, with several new features on the horizon.
According to the leaker, iOS 17 will introduce numerous changes to the Wallet app, such as swipe down to search, sorted tabs, a dedicated Apple Cash tab, an all transactions button, and more. Mark Gurman, a well-known and credible Apple leaker, responded to the tweet, confirming the Wallet app’s revamp, which lends further credibility to these renders based on iOS 17 designs.
Following its reveal at WWDC 2023 and a beta testing period, iOS 17 will be made available for the best iPhones later this year.
